Business Plan Reflection 2/23

1. What have you learned about being prepared for anything?
I have learned that being prepared allows you to accomplish so much more.  Being prepared leads to more success.

2. How did you react to having to deal with the possibility that your original assumptions may have been wrong?
I was pretty OK with it.  I knew that there was a possibility that our plans would not go perfectly, so I wasn't too worry about it.

3.  What did you learn about our economy? Has your opinion changed about anything?
I learned that the economy is a lot better than I thought it was.  I learned that the unemployment rate is 4.9%, but I thought that it was higher.  I also thought that the inflation rate is a lot higher than it actually is.

4.  How will the economy impact your business?
The economy impacts my business in a good fashion.  The economy will not hurt our business, because of the good inflation rate and unemployment rate.  If they were higher, the business would not have as much customers.

5.  Were you aware of all the expenses your business would have to pay?
Matt and I were aware of the expenses that we would have to pay.  This is because they are pretty basic expenses and they were kind of common sense.

6.  Which expenses stood out during your research?
The expenses that stood out the most during research was licenses.  Matt and I knew we would have to have licenses, but we were not 100% sure what kind of licenses we would have.

Business Plan review 2/4

1.    How well have you stayed on task?

I have stayed on task pretty well, even if I missed one day.  We have everything done that needs to be done except the organization, since I was not here on Tuesday.

2. After thinking about the management function, especially the leadership component, how well do you think you will lead your organization to success?

I think that I, along with Matt, will lead our company to success.  This is because we know our goals , and we know how to meet these goals.  Also, we will lead our company to success because we will have evaluations so that our employees are qualified to give our customers an excellent experience in our business.

3. What topics, if any, helped you with this portion of the plan?

The topics that helped me in this portion included employee and management training and benefits.  Recently in Entrepreneurship, we touched upon this subject.  This helped Matt and I to decide how we will lead and control our employees--through evaluations and meetings.

4. What part of the plan did you absolutely nail?

The portions of the plan that Matt and I that I believe that we nailed were the logo and the mission statement.  We already had a vision for our logo before we were even required to create it.  The mission statement was a little bland at first, but we spiced it up a little bit.
