Efficiency

Efficiency is the state of being able to accomplish something in the least waste of time and effort.  There are many employees who say that they are efficient in the workplace, but there is always room for more.  For instance, in our virtual business, there are many who do stay on task and efficient and there are some who say that they are efficient when they are not.  Both types of employees, even if they are efficient, may need some guide to being more efficient.

#1: First of all, delegating like a boss helps employees to be more efficient.  Asking for help and passing off tasks helps get production flowing and increases efficiency.

#2: Creating To-do lists helps keep track of accomplishments and tasks.  Prioritizing tasks also helps assessing patterns in efficiency to know when the most tasks are completed.

#3: Taking breaks is a major component in maintaining a sound body and mind.  Said sound body and mind are essential for the workplace.  You don’t want someone off balance to work for you, would you?

#4: Eating better also helps in efficiency.  The brain needs plenty of good fats to function at its best.  Eating almonds and other fat-enriched foods is perfect to get your brain on track.  It is also better to drink green tea instead of coffee because it gives caffeine without the jittery effects.

#5:  Working on smaller projects at a time is better than taking on big tasks all at once.  Smaller, more manageable tasks allow you to relax and not stress out when accomplishing your daily activities.

With these guidelines, I believe that even the most inefficient worker can accomplish his or her daily tasks without a problem.  This especially can be used to better our VE company.
